As Mars loves the Sea

Docked in your breath. That silent ebb and flow has swayed me.

I watch your tides arise from far, reaching for him, burdened blue.

That celestial body could love you

as I do.

Rest on my rusted surface instead. Dream. I would cut my sleeves to not wake you when I leave.

Maybe one day my love will be percieved; the confession of how Mars saw Earth’s sea.
