Chloe’s story 💁🏻‍♀️

All through school, and even through some of university, Chloe hadn’t met anyone who could prove her wrong or teach her something she hadn’t already taught herself. Chloe was always the smartest in the room. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Chloe had the uncanny ability absorb the intellect of anyone she killed. It was an inherited trait. She learnt about it when she was only five.

“You have to crack a few skulls to make a brainstorm.” Her father said. Then he made himself smarter with the help of a very successful entrepreneur.

Chloe’s first kill was at twenty two. It bought her enough intelligence to get a job as a rocket scientist as soon as she graduated university. It also lasted her enough to rise through the ranks until she was leading part of her department.

All that intellect. Sitting in a classroom. Chloe would have considered it wasted potential if she didn’t take it. She collected the knowledge of two more minds after that. Putting it all together, Chloe made giant leaps for mankind.

The souls of Chloe’s victims never left though. They watched Chloe grow and used their combined knowledge to reach new heights for the human race. They were impressed. They felt fulfilled. But still, they waited.
